So sorry to hear of John's death. He was a hugely sensitive man who managed to put into words and music the emotions most of us struggle to merely comprehend.
What a very sad day. I first heard John in 1978 and then went to see hime at Newcastle City Hall in 1980. After a gap of 18 years I saw him again every year untill 2008. So sorry I missed his last concert. John's music has been with me through most of my life life. His music has both inspired me and supported me through many sad and happy times. Thank you John, I will miss you x
