Kelly Clarkson's new single has made the biggest one week climb in the 50-year history of the US Billboard Hot 100.
Clarkson's song, 'My Life Would Suck Without You', climbed from number 97 to 1 after selling 280,000 digital-downloads in its opening week.
The track is the first single to be taken from the former American Idol winner's forthcoming album, 'All I Ever Wanted'.
It is the second time Clarkson has set the record for the biggest climb. Her American Idol victory song climbed from number 51 to 1 following her win on the reality show in 2002.
Elsewhere on the Hot-100, last week's number one Lady GaGa fell to number 2 with Just Dance, which is currently on top in the UK.
Beyonce is at number 3 with 'Single Ladies', while the rest of the top-5 is completed by Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
