Lily Allen has broken up with her boyfriend, art dealer Jay Jopling, because of their age difference, it's been reported.
The singer, who was pictured with Jopling in the Caribbean earlier this month, was also said to have been keen to maintain focus on her career.
The singer is due to release her second album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', next month.
“It was her decision to split as she’ll be away a lot this year and wouldn’t have got to see Jay much,” source told the Sun newspaper.
“She also felt the age gap was a bit too big. She felt that both his and her friends disapproved.”
Allen has remained silent over the nature of her relationship with Jopling, who owns London's White Cube gallery.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Allen will play a huge UK tour in March in support of her new record. Tickets for the tour are on sale now and available through Gigwise here.
