Bat For Lashes has announced details of her second album, 'Two Suns', and an accompanying UK tour.
Natasha Khan will release the follow-up to 2006's Mercury Music Prize nominated 'Fur & Gold' through Parlophone on April 6.
She then hits the road the following day for nine shows around the UK, kicking off at Manchester Ritz and winding up at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on April 17. They will be her first live shows since the prestigious support slot with Radiohead last year.
'Two Suns' is a concept album based on doubles and the number two and follows Natasha's own exploits alongside her inner-character, 'Pearl',the destructive blonde femme fatale that represents one extreme of her personality.
The singer is joined on several tracks by the absolutely awesome Yeasayer, while the final track 'The Big Sleep' is a duet with the legendary Scott Walker.
Other track names include 'Two Planet's', 'Pearl's Dream', 'Glass', 'Two' and the first single 'Daniel'.
The tour dates are as follows:
Manchester Ritz – April 7
Glasgow Queen Margaret Union - 8
Newcastle Northumbria University - 9
Leeds Metropolitan University - 11
Birmingham Town Hall - 12
Oxford Regal - 13
Bristol Ansom Rooms - 15
Brighton Corn Exchange - 16
London Shepherd’s Bush Empire - 17
