Amy Winehouse has dropped her appeal against a drugs fine in Norway.
The singer had been due to appear in court on January 12th in connection with an arrest outside a Bergen hotel in October 2007.
Winehouse, her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, and another man were found by local police to be in possession of seven grams of marijuana.
They were held overnight and released after agreeing to pay a £294 fine. But Winehouse later contested the penalty, claiming that police had been made mistakes during her arrest.
"After a careful review of the whole matter, they decided to drop the appeal," attorney Ole Kvelstad told the Associated Press news agency.
Winehouse will now be expected to pay the fine, he added.
Fears have been raised over the ramifications the fine could have on Winehouse's ability to obtain visas to perform abroad.
Under Norwegian law, Winehouse will effectively admit to the charges by excepting the fine.
As previously reported on Gigwise, reports today (January 6th) claim Winehouse has begun seeing a friend of England rugby star Danny Cipriani while on holiday in the Caribbean.
