Amy Winehouse has continued to show signs of improved health during her holiday in the Caribbean.
The singer enjoyed a game of beach football with family and friends at her hotel resort in St Lucia yesterday (January 2nd).
Winehouse is understood to have extended her stay by a further two weeks after spending the entire festive period on the island.
The singer has been praised for looking in better health as she continues to battle her drug problems.
She is also reported to have told guests in the hotel bar that she plans to design clothes for Fred Perry later this year.
“She was almost childishly excited and couldn’t stop talking about it,” a source told the Sun newspaper.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse has been summoned to appear in a Norwegian court this month in her appeal against a drugs fine.
The singer, her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, and another man were arrested by police outside a Bergen hotel in October 2007.
Winehouse was released by police after she agreed to pay a £294 fine, but the singer later contested the penalty alleging that claims had been made in her arrest.
Prosecutor Rudolf Christoffersen said the singer is expected in court when the trial opens on January 12th.
