Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has expressed his desire to collaborate with US rapper Jay-Z.
"I'd love to have him on my record or get in a studio together and let our brains mesh on some crazy shit. I love Hov," he told MTV.
Barker recently released a remix of the 'Jockin' Jay-Z', a track which is scheduled to appear on Jay-Z's forthcoming album 'Blueprint 3'.
Speaking about his remix, the drummer said: "I was attracted to the simplicity of the track. It left so much for me to do to it.
“The original was already jamming, so I felt blessed they let me flip it. I remix whatever catches my ear and lends itself to getting a makeover."
As previously reported on Gigwise, the majority of 'Blueprint 3' has been produced by Kanye West, who recently described Jay-Z's new material as “phenomenal”.
