The Greatest Sesame Street Guest Songs

On the day the video of Kermit The Frog singing LCD Soundsystem's 'New York I Love You' has been unveiled, I thought I'd present some of my favourite singing cameos on Sesame Street from over the decades.

Featuring REM dancing with furry monsters,  Andrea Bocelli singing Elmo to sleep, Feist teaching muppets how to count and the moment that made me realise that James Blunt isn't a **** after all, there are some side splittingly funny guest songs.

For those of you who haven't seen the poignant Kermit The Frog LCD Soundsystem cover, you can by clicking here.

    Here are my favourites below:

    • I agree Scott. James Blunt is great at whatever he sings but 'My Triangle' is a very special treasure of a treat!

    • If I were to vote on my all time favorite Elmo clip, it would be the one with Andrea Bocelli. Probably have viewed it 50 times. It is just so perfect and makes me think of the cuddly times of childhood.
