Elsewhere, former X Factor star Rhydian was another new entry at number three while Kanye West's '808s and Heartbreak' charted at number eleven.
In the singles chart, Take That stormed to the top spot with 'Greatest Day', the first track from their new album 'Circus'.
Britney Spears climbed to number seven with 'Womanizer' while T.I. Moved up to number three with 'Live Your Life'.
