My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Lero has unveiled details about his new side project, Leathermouth.
In a message on the band's blog, Lero confirmed that their debut album, 'XO', will be released on January 26th.
“Damn it feels like its been a lifetime of waiting for this record to see the light of day, but it really is a dream come true,” Lero wrote.
"Every step of this journey has been a blast, from the first practice, to touring, and now seeing the artwork come to life.
“I apologise to everyone that has been waiting along with us but **** man, I've been busy ...and we really wanted to make sure everything was right and now...finally, I truly feel it's coming out right."
As previously reported on Gigwise, My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way is currently working on a big screen adaptation of his comic book series, The Umbrella Academy.
He also recently revealed that My Chemical Romance would be taking a long break before recording to the follow-up to 2006's 'Welcome To The Black Parade'.
