Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash has revealed that he is hoping for a Democrat win in the American elections today (November 4th).
The guitarist said he was backing Barack Obama because he was more confident in the candidate's abilities compared to Republican rival John McCain.
"He hasn't answered all the questions but I'm hoping he's the right guy because (John) McCain gives me nightmares,” he told the BBC.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the guitarist also praised his former band, Guns N' Roses, who are due to release their new album this month after a 14 year wait.
Slash was speaking at the Classic Rock awards in London where he presented Ozzy Osbourne with the Living Legend prize.
