The Killers have confirmed that they will be releasing a Christmas single with Sir Elton John.
The band are due to record the track, entitled 'Joseph Better You Than Me', over the coming weeks.
Speaking to the BBC, the band's drummer, Ronnie Vannucci, said: “I have a sneaky suspicion Elton is just going to want to get us in a room and just do a straight recording.”
The song will be the third year in a row that the band have released a Chritmas single. Their previous two - 'A Great Big Sled' and 'Don't Shoot Me Santa' - were download only charity songs.
As previosuly reported on Gigwise, The Killers previewed songs from their new album 'Day and Age' during an intimate show at London's Royal Albert Hall last night (November 3rd).
'Day and Age' is released in the UK on November 24th.
