Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis has said she won't do a full live tour until 2010.
The singer, who won the reality TV music contest in 2006, said she hoped to record her second album next year before hitting the road.
She told the BBC: “Live tour will probably come the year after next. Next year is album. Album then tour.”
Despite enjoying massive success around the world with her debut album 'Spirit', Lewis has yet to headline her own solo tour.
She had previously suggested that she would tour in 2009.
Speaking about her album, Lewis said she would be working with a number of bands but refused to name which ones. “You'll find out soon enough, it's a different direction,” she said.
“There'll be ballads too. That's my thing. But it'll have a bit of an edge to it. It's always good to keep it fresh and try new things.”
Lewis is due to make a special appearance as a guest on the current series of The X Factor this month.
