Bruce Springsteen has been forced to cancel his annual Halloween celebrations on Friday (October 31st) due to past “catastrophic success”.
Springsteen and his wife, Patti, have traditionally decorated their house in Rumson, New Jersey for local residents.
However, in a message on his website, Springsteen said his local neighbourhood could no longer handle the number of visitors they attracted.
He also expressed concern “for the safety of kids and parents”.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Springsteen has spent the last month campaigning on behalf of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
