Morrissey has said he doesn't intend following Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon into the world of advertising.
Lydon is currently appearing in a TV campaign for British butter.
In an interview with the BBC, the former Smiths star said he hadn't seen the footage but had been told it was “difficult to watch.”
He then revealed that he had been offered a number of different TV campaigns during his career.
“I get offered some very strange things. I was offered a Kit Kat commercial to say 'Have a break, have a Kit Kat',” he said.
As previously reported on Gigwise, in what was a wide ranging interview, Morrissey also announced that he planned to write an autobiography.
He said he wanted the book to correct the “silly” stories that have been written about him.
