A self-portrait of the supermodel Kate Moss and a picture by her former boyfriend Pete Doherty both struggled to attract bidders at an auction last weekend.
Moss's painting, which was drawn in lipstick, failed to sell during the Lyon and Turnbull auction but was purchased afterwards for £33,600 by a mystery buyer.
The painting includes a hand written message from Doherty, which reads: "Who needs blood when you've got lipstick?"
Meanwhile, Doherty's self-portrait, painted in his own blood, failed failed to find a buyer.
Both pieces of art were created during the former couple's romance, which ended last year.
