Oasis' Liam Gallagher: 'I'd Be Bigger than WH Smith If I Wrote More Lyrics'

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has said he would be bigger than the high street store WH Smith if he found it easier to write lyrics.

Gallagher is responsible for three songs on the band's new album, 'Dig Out Your Soul', including one, 'I'm Outta Time', which is an ode to John Lennon.

The song has already been described as one of his best compositions - but the frontman has revealed that he didn't set out to write it.

“I didn’t go out to write a song like that, it just happened. I find it hard with words,” he told the Sun newspaper.

“If I found it easier with words I’d be huge. Bigger than WH Smith.”

As previously reported on Gigwise, in another interview Gallagher said he feared his brother, Noel, had been stabbed on stage during a recent concert in Canada.

Noel suffered fractured ribs when he was pushed from behind by a fan.
