Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill has mocked Katy Perry's chart-topping single 'I Kissed A Girl'.
Followill's band are currently trying to knock the 23-year-old American's track off the top of the UK singles charts with 'Sex on Fire'.
Talking about the battle, Followill told the BBC: "I kissed a girl and I liked it too."
He added: "If we beat Katy Perry and score our first Number One I'll be very happy. I want to beat everybody.”
'Sex on Fire' is the first track to be taken from Kings of Leon's new album 'Only By The Night', which is out next week.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Perry played her debut UK show in London earlier this week, and joked that the crowd had “popped her [British] cherry”.
