Amy Winehouse's mother-in-law Georgette Civil says she blames the singer's father Mitch and record company for pushing the troubled star into work which is directly affecting her health.
Blakey's mum says that Amy's mental and physical well-being should be take priority over her contracted live shows and social life.
Georgette tells the Daily Star: "Amy has serious health and drug dependency problems but she is pushed into work.
"Her health is more important than prancing around the on stage. I blame her father and record company. People around her have a duty to help her before she ends up dead."
Winehouse was forced to cancel her headline appearance at the Rock en Seine festival in France over the weekend, citing illness.
He last scheduled show of the year is due to take place this weekend at Bestival on the Isle of Wight.
