Kylie Minogue has acknowledged that her latest album, 'X', could have been better had she had more time to record it.
The album, which was released at the end of last year, went in at number four in the UK but failed to break the top-100 in America.
“In retrospect we could definitely have bettered it, I’ll say that straight up. Given the time we had, it is what it is,” the singer said.
Minogue, who recorded most of the release following her successful battle with breast cancer, did admit that the album contained some impressive songs, however.
“'Wow', 'In My Arms' and '2 Hearts' are crackers. They go off like a frog in a sock,” she said.
Despite her lack of success in America, Minogue said she was in no rush to try and break the lucrative market. "‘If it’s to happen, it’ll happen’,” she told the Sun newspaper.
