Lostprophets have pushed back the release of their new album until early 2009.
The band's keyboardist Jamie Oliver said the group weren't prepared to “compete with all the pop bands coming out over Christmas.
“We’re not worried though, it’s going to be good,” he added.
Speaking to Xfm about the album, which the group preview during their appearance at the V Festival last weekend, Oliver said they were pleased about how it was being received.
“It’s always been a good reception, so I’m pretty confident people will be into it,” he said.
Lostprophets continued to showcase the record last night during an intimate show at the Academy in Birmingham. You can see pictures from the gig below.
