Lily Allen Accused Of 'Punching' Member Of The Public

Lily Allen has been pictured apparently punching a member of the public outside a nightclub in London.

The incident, which took place outside the Groucho Club last night (August 18th), was apparently sparked after the unnamed woman allegedly hurled abuse at the singer.

Allen was then seen to strike the woman up to three times, according to photographers at the scene.

The pop star, who had been out with TV presenter Miquita Oliver, was finally driven away in a waiting car.

The incident follows Allen's claims yesterday that her record label, EMI, were to blame for the delay in releasing her second album.

'Stuck On The Naughty Step' was delivered to record bosses earlier in the summer. A source at EMI last night said the label was discussing the right date to release the record.
