Michael Jackson owes his brothers nearly $1million in unpaid recording royalities, it's been claimed.
The singer apparently hasn't spoken to Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
According to the New York Post's PageSix column, the royalties, believed to be worth nearly $840,000, relate to the brothers' time in the Jackson 5.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the Jackson 5 will be presented with a BMI Icon award in Beverly Hills next month.
All of the brothers, besides Jackson, have confirmed their attendance at the ceremony.
The Jackson's are being honoured for their astonishing contribution to music, which began in 1969 with the hit 'I Want You Back'.
The group, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, also collaborated with a number of major musicians during their career together, including Mick Jagger.
Reports have previously suggested that all the brothers were prepared to reunite together for a tour this year, although Michael is currently recording his new studio album.
