Muse – One of the greatest live bands on the planet at this moment in time, Muse are quite simply as essential as a heartbeat in the live arena. Their only UK festival appearance this year, you'd be an idiot not catch them headline the the V Stage. We're just wondering whether The Streets' Mike Skinner will be making a guest appearance.

Fair enough The Hoosiers, The Feeling, Kooks, Scouting For Girls etc don’t deserve a mention, but Air Traffic are a class act, their debut album was a muddled but glorious listen, and they are a ferocious live band, as confirmed by sold out shows and massive festival crowds despite no mainstream radio play or promotion. The definition of raw British talent. Bring on album 2.

All that advice was good, but it doesnt help when several of those acts were playing at the same time . . Impossible to follow
