Superbowl bosses have played down reports which claim Bruce Springsteen will perform during the half-time show at next year's American football extravaganza.
On Monday, an article in New York's PageSix said Springsteen and the E Street Band would play at the event, which is due to take place in Florida.
But in a statement, a spokesperson for the NFL, Brian McCartney, said that they “currently have any talent confirmed for the Super Bowl."
The half-time Superbowl slot is one of the most watched performances on global television.
The Rolling Stones, Prince and Janet Jackson are among the stars who have entertained crowds over recent years.
