Amy Winehouse is planning to release the song she recorded for the new James Bond film, according to reports.
Winehouse recorded a potential theme song alongside producer Mark Ronson earlier this year but the track wasn't chosen by the films producers.
Instead they selected a collaboration between Jack White and Alicia Keys, entitled 'Another Way To Die'.
Winehouse is quoted as telling New that she wants to “prove that [the producers] made a big mistake” by not choosing her song.
"I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive),” she said.
“I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine - and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit.”
She then apparently told the publication that she was waiting should White and Keys' song fail to materialise.
James Bond - Quantum of Solace
The next Bond film, Quantum of Solace, which will once again star Daniel Craig, will be released worldwide in early October.
