Morrissey has pushed the release of his new album, 'Years of Refusal', back until early 2009.
No reason has been given as to why the release date has been changed. The album, Morrissey's first studio project with Polydor Records, had been due out in September.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the album has been produced alongside Jerry Finn, who also worked on Morrissey's 2004 LP 'You Are The Quarry'.
The singer performed a number of songs off the new album during his headlining appearance at the Wireless Festival in London last month.
