A taxi driver refused to give Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty a lift because he wasn't prepared to risk the singer dodging the fare, it's been claimed.
Doherty and an unnamed woman hailed the cab down outside Jazz After Dark in London's Soho district only for the driver to drive off when he recognised the singer.
According to the Sun newspaper, however, Doherty was able to get a lift on a rickshaw instead.
The paper also claims that the singer gave a homeless man £20 before he was biked to his hotel.
Doherty's latest trouble with transport follows reports that he was rescued from a sinking rowing boat on Loch Lomond last weekend.
