Wham! Won't Reform At Final George Michael Concerts

    In London next month...

July 29, 2008 by Jason Gregory

George Michael has no intention of reuniting with his former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgely onstage in London next month, according to his spokesperson.

It had been claimed that Ridgely would join Michael at one of his two Earls Court shows, which will mark the end of his touring career.

But Michael's spokesperson has denied the claims, telling the Mirror: “We don't know anything about it.”

Michael has already promised that the two shows will be a “very special” tribute to the fans that have continued to support him throughout his career.

The singer is currently on his final tour of North America and Gigwise caught the second of his two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York last week.

You can see our review of the night here - and see photo highlights below.

    • I can add something to this story. The Final Two shows in London, August 24 & 25 are not even all that special or symbolic. A show called The Final One will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on August 30th, ie, after London. If Andrew was to join gorgeous george to mark his touring carer it would be in Copenhagens Parken Stadium...for now...I see a Final series coming.
