Amy Winehouse To be Released From Hospital Today

Amy Winehouse is expected to be released from University College Hospital in London later today (July 29th).

The singer was rushed to the medical facility last night by ambulance after suffering a "reaction to medication" at her home in Camden.

Paramedics were surrounded by photographers as they tried to help the singer into the ambulance shortly after 9pm.

Mitch Winehouse, the singer's father, told the BBC that he had shared a KFC takeaway with the singer earlier in the night, and that she had “scoffed the whole thing”.

Last month Winehouse was diagnosed with traces of the lung disease emphysema after fainting at her home.
