Amy Winehouse has been admitted to hospital in London after being taken ill at her home in North London.
The singer was rushed to University College Hospital by ambulance shortly after 8.40pm this evening (July 28th).
Chris Goodman, the singer’s spokesperson, said she was suffering a "reaction to medication".
Last month Winehouse was treated in hospital for traces of the lung disease emphysema after fainting at her home in Camden.
Her father, Mitch, said recently that Winehouse was responding well to treatment designed to help her overcome her drug problems.
Earlier this month, Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was jailed for 27 months after pleading guilty to assault and perverting the course of justice charges.
