Bon Jovi became only the six band to perform on Central Park's Great Lawn on Saturday (July 12th).
The band's free concert in New York was watched by over 50,000 people, many of whom had queued for hours to get tickets to the special event.
Bon Jovi began their performance with the classic, 'Livin' On A Prayer', before rattling through a setlist of hits that included 'Runaway' and 'Lost Highway'.
As previously reported on Gigwise, there had been much controversy in the build up to the concert after tickets began appearing on the auction website eBay.
At present, there are no reports of people facing trouble getting into the event.
The concert saw Bon Jovi join other established greats including Barbara Streisand and Paul Simon who have played on the famous lawn.
