Akon: Aliuane Badara Thiam – A number of rumours have circulated on the net claiming that Akon's full name is actually the extremely wordy 'Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam', and the star simply lifted the Akon part for his stage name. The Senegalese-born rapper has never confirmed this.
