Amy Winehouse has returned to the stage for the first time since she was diagnosed with traces of the lung disease emphysema.
The singer was among a host of stars who performed in London’s Hyde Park yesterday (June 27th) to mark the 90th birthday of Nelson Mandela.
In addition to a short set – which included ‘Rehab’ and her cover of The Zutons’ ‘Valerie’ – Winehouse took centre stage during the finale, which saw the day’s performers unite to sing the protest song ‘Free Nelson Mandela’.
