• I was there. He was bottled and mullered because he was a grime artist at a rock festival, not because he was black. Skindred were at the same festival and they got a fantastic response, with no racial comments made about them, and Killswitch Engage last year also got no abuse. There would have been what, five racists out of the 60,000 people there, maximum? It’s unfair to label everyone that went to Download racists becuase they didn’’t want a HIP HOP act at a ROC

• i personally don’t like Bizzle’’s music but he seems like a very sound guy and there’’s no reason why these little fuckers should be throwing bottles/muller rice at anyone. We all go to these festivals and there are bound to be bands we don’’t like. fuck off and watch someone else. kudos to you bizzle. get these fuckers out of our festivals (racist comments aside of course) x

• I’ve been to Download for three years and this is a small number of ignorant people who did this. The reason Lethal Bizzle was bottled was not because of the colour of his skin but the style of music. Next time any of you lot who are criticising ACTUALLY GO to the festival, see what it’’s like then.
