Pete Doherty played a surprise gig alongside the daughter of Police frontman Sting in London last night (May 29th).
Performing to a small audience, Doherty joined 17-year-old Coco Sumner on drums at the impromptu show at Jazz After Dark in Soho.
The Babyshambles frontman used the gig to express his admiration for Sumner, telling the crowd: "This is the amazing Coco. She's one of the reasons this country's good.
“She's only 17, she's a great musician and I really fancy her."
Sumner is perhaps most famous for appearing in Burberry’s Spring/ Summer campaign alongside Agyness Deyn.
Doherty is due to play alongside Babyshambles at The Mass in Brixton this Friday (May 30th).
Tickets for the gig are available now. For more information, check out our new look Gig Guide.
