A man was found dead in a tent at the Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem festival over the bank holiday weekend.
The man’s body was discovered on Saturday (May 25th) at the Turweston Aerodome in Northamptonshire.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out this week. It’s understood that the man was middle-aged and from Northampton, reports the BBC.
This year’s festival was badly affected by the adverse weather conditions that struck much of the south of the country over the weekend.
The rain led to the closure of the live stage on Sunday (May 26th), forcing the cancellation of live sets from Crystal Castles, Hot Chip and headliners the Chemical Brothers.
The opening day of the event featured a live performance from The Prodigy and a 3-hour DJ set from Paul Van Dyk.
