Amy Winehouse has spoken for the first time about her appearance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
It was revealed earlier this week that the singer would perform ahead of Jay-Z on the Pyramid Stage at the event in June.
Speaking to the BBC, Winehouse said she “can’t wait” to play the festival.
But the singer said she hoped her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in custody, would be able to attend with her.
“Please God my Blake will be with me, that's all I'm looking forward to,” she said.
Winehouse also spoke about her new material, which she described as “pretty much the same” as her last album.
“Very atmospheric and very lovelorn and all the rest,” she added.
Winehouse won an Ivor Novello yesterday for her song ‘Love Is A Losing Game’ but arrived to late to collect the award.
