Leona Lewis’s debut single ‘Bleeding Love’ has retuned to the top of the Billboard singles chart in America.
It’s the third time that the single, which topped the charts in the UK last year, has taken the top spot in the United States.
Lewis’s sales figures were helped by her appearance on American Idol last week.
As well as helping contestants, the singer also performed on the hit reality TV show.
To date, ‘Bleeding Love’ has sold over 1.5million copies in America, despite a limited number of live performances from the former X-Factor winner.
As previously reported, Lewis’s debut album, ‘Spirit’, went straight in at number one when it was released in America last month.
The feet meant Lewis became the first British solo artist to debut at number one on America’s Billboard 200.
