The Odessa Demo: 1999 – Just before the turn of the century, Doherty and Barat, with bassist John Hassall, booked themselves into the Odessa Studios. The 3-track demo which resulted comprised of ‘Breck Road Lover’, ‘Lust Of The Libertines’ and ‘Pay The Lady’ – all songs which fans of their albums should take note of.
