44. David Bowie: ‘Diamond Dogs’ –
The half-Bowie, half-dog on this 1974 concept album caused controversy due to the exposed genitalia of the creature, painted by Guy Peellaert. The offending member was rapidly airbrushed in time for the 1974 mainstream release, making the few that did slip through the censor’s net some of the most expensive and sought after Bowie records of all time.
