Brian Eno – The synth player with Roxy Music went solo in 1975 to create innovative, abstract albums as well as producing experimental electronic works by the likes of David Bowie. He is currently putting the finishing touches to Coldplay’s fourth album.

Hmmm, no Daft Punk mentioned? Or my personal favorite, Underworld? (Well, I don’t mind Underworld not being mentioned but Daft Punk is pretty big, isn’t it?) Well, nice collection anyways, great history lesson :D

Yep, I admit there are some omissions, but we could have gone on forever. Some perhaps that should have been included: Radiohead for Kid A, LCD Soundsystem etc etc...

Well I never knew Theremin was named after someone, I always thought it was some foreign technical word. But then I always thought Moogs were called that cos they go ’moooooooooog’.
