43. The The: ‘Infected’ - It was about disease and infection and that's exactly what The The gave us. A disfigured figure that looks part pizza/part human, snot and blood all done in crassly dolloped daubs of paint. Wrong but very right.

Poor list, some great covers and some really boring ones...such as all the beatles covers. Four guys walking across a crosswalk? really how interesting is that unless you are an absolutely obsessed beatles fan, why not feature the cover of the ’white’ album..i am sure beatles heads can tell you how genius it is...
