Following the pair reuniting and reconciling at the Grammy Awards, Kanye West may be appearing on a forthcoming remix of a Taylor Swift track.

According to rumours circulating online producer Ariel Rechtshaid, who has worked with Haim, Brandon Flowers and Charli XCX, is set to be producing a collaboration between West and Swift. The track is apparently a new version of Taylor's 'Bad Blood' from her album 1989.

The choice of song is particularly interesting as it is widely rumoured to concern Swift's falling out with Katy Perry. In Swift's Rolling Stone interview she explained the thoughts behind the track. "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’ Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour."

Given that Perry and West dueted on 'ET' it seems that the stage is set for something truly spectacular - it'll be particularly interesting to see what West does with the "Band-aids don't fix bullet holes" bridge.

Following the West and Swift being photographed together at the Grammy Awards (before West appeared on stage to interrupt Beck's award), the pair apparently have both met socially and may have recorded a track.

West told the Breakfast club: "The other day I went to dinner and sat down with Taylor Swift, and ironically they were playing the Beck album," he said. "Maybe they did it on purpose so I could finally hear it. But I was like 'Man, this is kinda good.' I ain’t even gonna lie." West also told Ryan Seacrest on his radion show that the pair were going into the studio together.

Both West and Taylor Swift are set to perform at the BRIT Awards tonight (Wednesday 25 February), alongside the likes of Madonna, Take That,  Royal Blood, George Ezra and Sam Smith.
