U2 and Foo Fighters are amongst the acts set to perform on a tribute American TV show to the late Johnny Cash.
Both will perform songs on ‘I walk the line: A night for Johnny Cash’ which will be aired through CBS on November 16.
Other acts set to perform include Norah Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sheryl Crow and Kris Kristofferson.
The show comes just two days before the Johnny Cash biopic ‘Walk The Line’ hits the screens Stateside. Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon and Dennis Quaid who star in the film will be introducing acts throughout the night.
As billboard reports, although songs haven’t been allocated to acts yet, organisers promise that ‘I Walk the Line,’ ‘Sunday Morning Coming Down’, ‘I Still Miss Someone’, ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ and ‘Home of the Blues’ will all be performed.
