Stevie Wonder could gain some of his sight back if he gets accepted for pioneering new surgery. The procedure involves installing a radical microchip which could help certain blind people with specific conditions to gain some sight.
Stevie is currently awaiting confirmation of acceptance to become a guinea pig for the scheme which would hopefully allow him to see for the first time since infancy.
The 55-year-old said: “I’ve been tested and there was some possibility that I could maybe be a candidate.”
