Movie fans everywhere can rejoice, as Waxwork Records have announced that they will be re-issuing the Warriors soundtrack.
The cult film (which if you haven't seen, sort it out!) follows one of many New York gangs, named the Warriors, attempting to make their way home through rival gang territories.
Waxwork Records recently announced on Twitter that they will be releasing the score to the 1979 movie later this year. It will differ slightly from the original release as it features more tracks from composer Barry DeVorzon, who created the Warriors score along with Excorcist III and Night of the Creeps soundtracks.

The soundtrack as expected from a 70s movie is a hyrbid of balls out rock and synthy disco-pop. No release date has officially been confirmed by waxwork records but they did confirm that it would be out later this year. The label also reissued the stunning soundtrack to Roman Polanski's chiller Rosemary's Baby.
