Pissed Up Pete Doherty Collapses

Babyshambles are not even halfway through their eagerly awaited UK tour and already things seem to be going tits up…well even more then normal.

Frontman Pete Doherty frightened his band, his audience and first aiders when he collapsed on stage in Newcastle on Tuesday.

According to the Daily Star, Doherty spent the hours before the gig on a mammoth pub crawl round Newcastle, wearing odd shoes and drinking copious amounts of whiskey.

He cleverly threw ice at photographers waiting for ‘THAT’ snap of him being a prat. He took to the stage in a right state by all accounts before falling into a drum kit.

A fan at the gig said: “At the end of their set Pete jumped into the crowd, he looked really out of it.”

“He had been drinking on stage and fans kept throwing cans of lager and cigarettes to him.”

After a month of turmoil in both his personal and professional life Doherty seems to be treating this essential tour as a giant bender…he has almost become a parody of himself, sort yourself out mate.
