Prime Minister David Cameron has spoken out about the music that he's been listening to lately, confessing to be a huge fan of Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit.
The Tory PM, whose tastes have previously seen him slammed by members of The Smiths for admitting to be a fan, was talking to the Mail On Sunday's Event magazine when he revealed how he and wife Samantha once snuck in to one of First Aid Kit's gigs at London's Shepherd's Bush Academy.
"There’s quite a good way of sneaking in there," said Cameron, adding: "I’ve got into a bit of a countryish thing."
Cameron said that his wife Samantha was a huge fan of festival favourites First Aid Kit, and revealed that she once recommended their music to Mumford & Sons.

He also told The Mail that he continues to listen to The Smiths in his household, despite guitarist Johnny Marr forbidding him from doing so.
Mr Cameron's tastes have often caused a stir in the music world. Haim came under attack for dedicating a song to him on the BBC, Thom Yorke threatened to sue him for using Radiohead music in campaigns and back in November Paul Heaton declared him 'an imbecile' for praising The Housemartins.
