It’s been a tad on and off to say the least, but the Fugees reunion is now gathering momentum. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Prakazrel Michel, have been in the studio for two months and, according to their label, have just leaked a new song called ‘Be Easy.’
Their new album remains untitled but is tentatively scheduled for release on 27 December – but there’s still no hint as to who the group has been working with, MTV revealed yesterday.
The Fugees shocked the crowd with a surprise performance at Dave Chappelle’s block party in New York last summer and played in June this year, at the BET Awards. Hill has been recording a solo album but, again, details are vague.
